Real talk from the shop floor Look, high-wattage IR lamps put out a massive amount of heat. Even with a perfect lamp, your reflectors have to be spotless. If they’re dusty, the heat bounces back into the housing instead of hitting the preform. That’s a fast track to a premature burnout.
