When you’re running a SACMI rotary line, everything happens fast. Really fast. You’ve only got a tiny window to get that PET preform heated just right. If your lamps are sluggish or the temperature bounces around during the cycle, you’re going to see it in the bottles. We’re talking uneven walls or that annoying pearlescent haze. It’s a headache you don’t need. That’s why we built our infrared lamps to kill that startup lag. The secret is in the heat density. To keep up with the rhythm of a SACMI machine, we tweaked the wattage-to-length ratio. By packing more power into the quartz envelope, the filament hits the right IR spectrum almost instantly. It means you spend less time staring at the machine waiting for it to warm up and more time actually producing. Just a heads-up: because these tubes push more heat into the resin faster, make sure your cooling blowers are up to the task. You don’t want the oven frame getting too toasted. No fancy rewiring needed. We use high-purity quartz glass because it lets the IR light through without fighting it. We also calibrated the filaments specifically for SACMI power supplies. This stops them from burning out prematurely. Plus, we use the standard connectors you’re already used to—like R7s or Sk15. You can just pop them in and go.
