It&amp;rsquo;s easy to assume the hardware is just too old to keep up with today&amp;rsquo;s cycle times.&#xA;But here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: the problem usually isn&amp;rsquo;t the &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.net&#34;&gt;gears&lt;/a&gt; or the timing. It&amp;rsquo;s the heat.&#xA;Most of the time, the bottleneck is simply how fast you can get that preform ready. If your IR lamps are worn out, you&amp;rsquo;re fighting a losing battle. Swapping those old bulbs for high-density halogen elements can actually move the needle on your daily output.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Why your old lamps are lying to you&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Lamps don&amp;rsquo;t just &amp;ldquo;work&amp;rdquo; or &amp;ldquo;burn out.&amp;rdquo; They fade.&#xA;Over time, the tungsten filament gets thin and the quartz glass gets cloudy. You might think they&amp;rsquo;re still putting out the same heat, but the actual wattage hitting the plastic is dropping.&#xA;When we match a lamp to Krones specs but bump up the heat density, something cool happens. The preform heats up faster. Keep an eye on your chiller. If the molds can&amp;rsquo;t pull the heat out fast enough, your bottles will start to deform.&#xA;But if you get the wiring right and balance your oven zones? You can often squeeze another 5-10% of production out of a legacy machine.&#xA;It&amp;rsquo;s a lot cheaper than buying a whole new line.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
